Lander Pipe Band Youth have been invited to compete at the 2025 World Pipe Band Championships!:
Lander band members will team up with youth members of the Upland High School pipe band in southern California.
The combined band will be called "The Uplanders".
Band members qualify for the band via audition.
Per person cost is estimated at $7,000.
Up to 15 band members could qualify to attend.
One trip by the Lander youth to southern California will be necessary to ensure the combined band plays well in unison.
The Lander band members will also need to attend a workshop in July 2025 as well as one or two pipe band contests in Utah or Las Vegas or British Columbia, Canada.
